key ministries
These objectives are realized through the implementation of various key ministries. Over the past few years there has been a significant expansion of our ministries, particularly since the reestablishment of democracy in 1990, and our official registration with the Government in 1998. These ministries include:
- Mission Commission of Nepal (MCN) was begun to mobilize the indigenous church to reach the unreached with a planned strategy for evangelism, even outside their language group. MCN under a partnership with Churches and organization has been sending missionaries with the nation and outside the nations to Asian and Pacific countries.
- Leadership courses for Christian leading women and pastors and leaders in order to develop Christian leaders to upgrade the Christian Leadership status of the Churches in Nepal.NCFN is also helping in disseminating the management subjects to upgrade the management of the Churches and organizations.
- Social Services seek to enable needy Christians to be self-supporting and self reliant through non-formal education, income generating projects, health programs, etc. NCFN has been implementing developmental and construction works for communities in needs. NCF Nepal has been helping in finding resources to implement the Church initiatives.
- Nepal Ebenezer Bible College (NEBC) at present offers a 3-year B. Th. degree, with plans to upgrade to B.D. and an M. Div. level.
- Facilitating in development of physical infrastructure building of the Church of Nepal.
- Organizing social and medical mission activities under the leadership of local Churches.
- Seek ways and initiate activities to help church of Nepal to obtain legal status in the country.
- Facilitate Church of Nepal in mobilizing youth, women and children.
- Organizing workshops and conferences in all the five regions at various levels.
